With more people you have to provide more items and their is more competition with less people you produce less.

If the climate changes or if the way of the land changes it may cause the people that live there to change their way of living.

War causes the loss of many lives and it brings destruction of property and leads to the rise of new cities and towns.

Every time a new city is taken over the people enforce their values and their beliefs onto the town, therefore causing social change.

So like people with vested interests they will refuse change because there way is best.

here you may have 2 different groups of people wanting 2 different things which may not cause change because they're just fighting for the things they want.

if people like the things they have they do not want to change therefore there will be less change.
