Because times are changing, the books in the classroom need to be updated as well. I had seen on social media that a young girl was using the same book Blake Shelton used. Books should be updated often because new, updated information is needed. One thing I think could help is using online resources because it cannot get torn up. I understand trying to get the most use out of them, but when a textbook says its current president is George W. Bush and it is currently 2018...that's a problem.
