If one aspect of the ecosystem is insufficient, the rest of the ecosystem suffers.

Acid precipitation most commonly affects the marine biome. This is because the acidic soil after rain can wash into streams and other bodies of water.  It is very hard for plants and animals in a marine biome to overcome the high acidity and high levels of aluminum.

In addition, the lower the pH level, the high the acidity, making it very dangerous for fish to live in the water. Typically, the younger the animal or plant, the harder it is to maintain common functions and ultimately live with the low pH levels.
