How much "education of future generations" has been done in those 150 years? Heck, how much has been done since the Civil Rights Movement? While my fellow classmates and I would surely condemn any action ever taken by the KKK, that doesn't mean people across the U.S. would. Not even five years ago, the Charlottesville "Unite the Right" rally (terrorist attack) spread violence throughout the city for multiple days, and was started by college kids!!! Kids who are literally in the same "Gen Z" cohort as us teamed up with neo-Nazis and the KKK. Or, even more recently, Kyle Rittenhouse, the then-17 year old Kenosha shooter, killed two anti-police-brutality protesters less than a year ago! How much more education is needed, how much longer will it be until everyone in America is on the same page regarding violence and terror? 
It seems impossible to me. 
The definitions of "violence and terror" have been so politicized over the past four years that I need to be very careful about this definition. If an organization or its members are truly committing acts of terror, such as the KKK, or arguably modern neo-Nazi "protesters," they should be thrown in jail, maybe their own special "terrorist" jail, and re-educated from there.
