Buddha, who lived about 2500 years ago has preached about morals which are relevant till today. With the values we learn today if implemented can change the way our society works for the better. Buddha talked about a concept called 'nirvana', which is to be free of hatred, lust and greed. it is what we call true salvation. Unlike other religions, Buddhism doesn't believe in devotion towards god, Buddhism believes spiritual joy, to be as calm as the water in a lake. He developed the concept of karuna, which is compassion towards each other and a moral duty of human beings to help each other.(this is not pasted from google). Buddha's values can truly transform the world
E.N.D

In the modem times, people have a lot to explore and move with the world at the same pace. If people don’t understand the practicality of life, they will be under stress which would in turn affects, their personal and professional lives. People need to understand that everyone who is born will have to die one day. There is no use being sad or crying over the loss. People should remain calm and composed in such situations. They should face the truth and move on in life.

A true teacher leads by example and the Buddha lead the way by setting an example. His five principles, four noble truths and eight-fold path – all steer us towards a righteous life. In today’s world which is highly marred by violence, greed, intolerance and degradation of human values, his teachings offer efficacious ways to combat these maladies. His teachings propose practical remedies to the human predicament. The Buddha’s 84,000 teachings have shown a remarkable ability to adapt and to resonate with people at different times and in contrasting cultures.

In the chapter 'The Sermon at Benares', we learn about one of Buddha's many profound teachings. We learn about his teaching of the inevitable nature of death, how nothing can bring back the dead, grief causing even the living to become pale and sickly. We learn about how we must "pull out the arrow of grief and lamentation" so that we can move on and accept the loss. In my opinion, Buddhas teachings still hold a lot of relevance in today's world. There is still loss and death all around us, and we must learn to accept and move on. This will help us obtain peace of mind, overcome sorrow, and even conquer it.

The Buddha was one of those who were very conscious of the many effects of hatred. He had seen people ruining themselves as a result of hatred. Buddha believed that hatred never ceases by hatred. To the Buddha the only way to solve it is that one party must stop. Loving kindness, which is the cornerstone of Buddhism, has not been taken by the Buddha as merely a simple ethical principle. He had analysed the principle of loving kindness into sublime life.
Another most significant aspect of the Buddha’s preaching is - Meditation. Meditation means the training of the mind. The word itself means development - a further development of the mind.

'Ruinous desires are the primary cause of suffering'. This is the one of the profound teachings of Buddha where he beautifully emphasizes on the pains experiences in the cycle of life. Self-content and destroying all harmful distractions is the path to end these eternal sufferings, with respect to his teachings. He, with his peaceful meditation attained the knowledge which was priceless. The knowledge predominantly revolved around attaining virtues such as 'satisfaction, peace, tolerance etc.'

These teachings are extremely pertinent in today's times, in my opinion. Majority of the people are trapped in the vicious cycle of 'avarice, vanity, ego' and other self-destructing emotions. To successfully overcome these issues of the 'modern-world' it is essential to be spiritually knowledgeable and peaceful. In this situation, adopting the path of Buddha's learnings of 'end of suffering' is the best possible option. This imbues the values of compassion in people and makes the world a better place to live in.
Hence, Buddha's teachings are very relevant, according to me

We shouldn't grieve as it will cause harm to us, even though we can do nothing about someone who is dead.

Relevance of Buddha's teachings:
I feel that Buddha's teachings are very relevant today. Everyone desires for something or the other and when they don't get that, or lose that, they become sorrowful. I have often heard about incidents where people couldn't bear the pain of losing a loved one and died soon after them, which shows just how important it is to understand that everyone dies, it is irreversible, and lamenting will only deteriorate our health.
