Janne should be fired! :)
More seriously, teachers should be trained before a new curriculum is implemented.  
Concretely, Janne could provide an individual test first, then ask pupils to work in a collaborative way on the same questions  and finally ask them to retake the test individually.

1 -  Collaborative learning: Janne can ask (next time) each student in the group to do peer assessment of others during the group work.

2 - Self-regulated learning: Learning diaries submitted by each student during or at the end of the group work.

3 - Teacher support in that - Oral assessment during the event. Teacher can directly questions to students in the group by direct questions.
