I’m Renee Vincent, the Director of Link Foundation AOD and a passionate drug and alcohol counsellor who genuinely cares about helping people rebuild their lives. With over 25 years of experience across policing, education, counselling, and community services, I bring a strong understanding of trauma, dependencies, and mental health and the challenges people face when trying to make positive change.

I started my career in the NSW Police Force, and over time my passion shifted towards supporting people in a more therapeutic and person-centred way. That journey led me into counselling, education, and community work, where I found my purpose in helping people feel heard, supported, and empowered.

Through Link Foundation AOD, I work closely with individuals, families, Community Corrections, courts, and support services to create real pathways for recovery and lasting change. I’m also a lecturer and mentor, and I love supporting students and future counsellors as they grow in the field.

I live in the Blue Mountains with my family and care deeply about strong communities, meaningful connection, and making sure people know they never have to face their struggles alone.
