• Elements:A pure substance made up of only one type of atoms

• Periodic table :A table consisting of rows and columns that has all the known elements arranged in them according to their atomic numbers

• Electron:The negative sub atomic particle present around the nuclues in an atom

• Proton:The positive subatomic particles present within the nucleus of an atom

• Neutrons:The subatomic particle present inside the nucleus of an atom with no charge

• Electrostatic force:The force present between the electrons and nucleus of an atom due to difference of electric charges between them

• Compounds:A compound is an arrangement consisting of 2 or more elements chemically bonded togather . Sodium chloride, calcium carbonate .

• Molecule:A molecule is an arrangement of two same or different atoms joined togather .e.g Oxygen molecule , hydrogen molecule, carbondioxide molecules
