Welcome to UST! Another door has been unlocked for you to explore. This is a new territory for everyone to learn and I can tell you it will not be easy. There will be failures along the way and it's okay to be sad about it but always remember to stand up and fight once again. This is only the beginning of something beautiful. If you ever see yourself being discouraged or doubtful, don't be afraid to seek comfort or help. You can always talk to your friends or you can talk to me. you can contact me through messenger (Allyson Garcia), I will listen to you and try to give you helpful advice on anything I know. it may be hard to juggle everything but don't forget to take care of yourself once in a while. with all the activities you are given, you deserve to rest always remember that. a few tips from your ate, don't be afraid to be wrong or make mistakes, don't be afraid to ask questions from your teachers or classmates, make friends along the way, don't push yourself past your limit, and do things at your own pace. give it all your best and enjoy freshies! There is so much in store for all of you.

This is what we've felt when we ourselves were already nearing the first day of our eleventh grade classes. There is "so much in store," and it is completely okay to feel a bit nervous and uncertain; I'm sure all of you are excited to take on this journey as SHS students, but don't worry if this feeling of excitement is accompanied by the feeling of being scared. Remember that you will always have each other's backs - your block mates - and even us, always by your side to guide you. When things get too overwhelming, just remember that you have us to turn to.

We journey together, hand in hand.
So, don't be afraid to strive for the stars; don't be afraid of the idea of possibly hitting the lowest point. Remember that in this journey, through the ups and downs, someone will take your hand and get you up back again when you fall. Make sure you pay attention during online classes and try learning the test styles of your teachers so you know how to prepare for their classes better. Senior high school is really a test of your time management skills, but nevertheless, always make time for your family, friends, and most importantly, yourself.

It may feel overwhelming at first because it's new to you. New environment, new people, and how lessons and tasks become too challenging. That's fine. As long as you can adapt well, you can finish anything. Improve your time management skills, learn to plan ahead, advance study, pay attention in online classes, jot down notes, and lastly, find your preferred method of studying. You will discover on this journey what method of learning works best for you.

You are capable of doing this. It's okay to pause for a moment and just rest. While studying is important, taking care of your health comes first. Don't forget to take a breather once in a while. Yellow is one of the colors of the rainbow. That color transformed me into the better person I am today. I never knew that the shirt with yellow color would mark the day when I encountered the most memorable, amazing things. I never expected a simple dream to become a reality when I was a little kid.

I would like to welcome you to UST and if there is one thing I would like you guys to know is just to enjoy the moment. Whatever hardships you guys will face (trust me it will come) just enjoy the company of your blockmate and your friends. UST is an endless abyss wherein 2 years is not enough to explore and know everything about the university you will call home during your stay here. And if it aint ur motto yet make sure to never forget that Grades r just numbers (try telling that sa admissions nyo for college). wassap guys, its yo boi kuya mico in the house!! jokes aside, congrajulashuns and welcome to ust!!! entering this new path will definitely become difficult for u at times(hehe). u may feel like you’re not sure where to go or what to do, and that’s completely okay!! it’s a new step, and it takes time to get used to it so go at your own pace!^^ I hope the energy to learn and enjoy is with u at all times ^^. don't forget to make your stay worthwhile as 2years is not enough to spend time with your blockmates thru thick and thin. also, groupworks will be fun I swear! don't be shy getting to know each other haa! even us, your kuyas and ates, were really shy the first days of class, but we got along just fine <3. don't let your grades shatter your day haa, getting your grades is not the end, it's just the beginning, so study well! there's always time to fix mistakes; always!

hello, tiger rookies! 🐅

i won't start sweet and i won't sugarcoat what i want to say. this new journey of yours will indeed be filled with complicated challenges, bumps, and obstacles. yes, you should actually feel scared because it's normal. you should allow yourself to. you're entering a new stage of your life. it is bound to be scary. there will be times wherein you'll see red scores in your blackboard accounts. there will be times wherein you'll complain about the enormous piles of workload given to you in just a week. there will be times wherein you'll have breakdowns and think about how easy it would be to just give up.

i know all this because to be completely honest, i have experienced all the scenarios i've mentioned above. and yes, it was very hard. it was not giving-up-your-chickenjoy's-crispy-skin hard but it was still hard. however, at the same time, my grade 11 journey was also easy. it was easy because i built the best support system around me. it was easy because i balanced my academic and personal priorities. it was easy because i enjoyed the ride.

now that you've had a tiny glimpse of what lies ahead of you, prepare yourselves and remember:
