Spirituality in Modern Times by Isaac

This wall is here to help you understand what spirituality means to me and what it is generally excepted to mean to the wider community. You are welcome to add any of your own insights into spirituality as well, whether it be music, videos or pictures. Defining the meaning of spirituality is hard as it means a whole range of things to people, to me it is the ability to sit back, think through life and come out with an outlook on your problems that is positive, however social scientists mainly define it as the individuals search for the "sacred" where the "sacred can be any individuals point of view. In the past spirituality was intrinsically linked to religion and your religious beliefs but in modern times peple have stepped back and realised that it is something else than religious beliefs for most people.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel
both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I

way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be
telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged

the difference.

Robert Frost
