The United States has more territory than Japan, but Japan has the most used transportation station in the world talking about of Shinjuku station in Tokyo, it is said that 3 million people pass by every day and it is a place of popular and everyday culture is amazing!! 
Secondly united state has the most obese people in the world, junk food restaurants are very common there. But does not mean that we spend less because united state is more expensive to live than Japan, and United States has more immigrant population than Japan. 
Japan is a country safer at least more than united state, Japan is the country with the longest life expectancy and the majority of its population are elderly peopleIn what they are very similar is in technological advances (Japan ranks 1 and the United States second)
