Who created death and life that He might try you as to which of you is better in deed. He is the Most Mighty, the Most Forgiving.

As a human being who hold the title of slave, we certainly do not miss out on making mistakes or sins. However, Rasulullah SAW reminded us all to always be patient, try to cure diseases and trust after all efforts are implemented.

Every difficulty must be accompanied by convenience as stated in Surah Al-Insyirah, verses 5-6 which means: "For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. With hardship [will be] ease."

Allah teaches His servants the procedure of dealing with calamities as stated in the Qur'an. {Who, when afflicted with calamity, say: "Truly! To Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return."} Quran: 156

In the verse of the Qur'an, Allah SWT uses the word 'misfortune' to describe it can be imposed on believers, but the more important thing is for them to remember Allah.

“And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me”

1- Allah commands us to always worship Allah
2- Need to keep value of perfection and obedience
3- Every worship has a positive value and it also benefits us
4- Allah forbids us to ruin our goodness 

 يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَلَا تُبْطِلُوا أَعْمَالَكُمْ

O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and do not invalidate your deeds.( Muhammad :33)

2- RAHMAH
Fasting applies muslims to do good deeds

3- TAKRIM
Fasting is individually ibadah but it will help us to accomplished social ibadah 

Social Ibadah consist of :
Give Zakah, Give sadaqah, Give foods and drinks for breakfast 

1- VIRTUE 1: ISLAMIC BROTHERHOOD
Like a family/  strong union.
Helping each other.
And do good as Allah did good to you.

2- VIRTUE 2: TAWAKAL
قُلْ اِنَّ رَبِّيْ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهٖ وَيَقْدِرُ لَهٗ ۗوَمَآ اَنْفَقْتُمْ مِّنْ شَيْءٍ فَهُوَ يُخْلِفُهٗ ۚوَهُوَ خَيْرُ الرّٰزِقِيْنَ
Everything that Allah command to you to give out zakah or sadaqah or infaq. Allah will replace your property in the world and the hereafter.

Time to perform hajj
 b) Property
They have to sacrififice the wealth they have. Some save money to perform it. 
 c) Feelings

Feelings of longing for 

family, partner, the 

garden, comfort etc

2- Taqwa (God 

consciousness)
Hajj is a symbol formed from various practices, a symbol of surrender of a servant to Allah swt.

During ihram, we need to refrain from all things that are forbidden during ihram.

As long as we do not make tahallul, then during that time we have to refrain from things that are forbidden.

3- SURRENDER

FACTORS OF KHUSYU' IN SALAH
1- TAHARAH
Othman bin ‘Affan (RA) narrates that Nabi (SAW) said, “Whoever performs a perfect Wudhu, the sins are washed off from his body to such an extent they even come out from beneath his nails.

2- CONDITIONS, PILLARS AND APPLICATION OF SALAH.
Islam, Aqil, Mature, Taharat or ritual purity.

3. SOLAT NAWAFIL.

Difference of Al-Fahsha(Immoral sins) and Al-Munkar(Evil deeds)

Sincere (إخالص)
(خشية) Fear 

Remembrance (الذكر)

• Hikmah of Fasting
يايها الذين ءامنوا كتب عليكم الصيام كما كتب 

على الذين من قبلكم لعلكم تتقون (2:183)

Meaning of Taqwa: Fear of Allah 

Fasting teach us to get closer to Allah and staying away from desires of nafs

• Hikmah of Zakat 
خذ من أموالهم صدقة تطهرهم وتزكيهم بها 

وصل عليهم (9:103)

To clean and purify our properties and even the property is seen less physically, but more at its blessing.

• Hikmah of performing Hajj
الحج أشهر معلومات فمن فرض فيهن الحج فال رفث وال فسوق 

وال جدال في الحج وما تفعلوا من خير يعلمه هللا (2:197) 

Things that decrease the reward of Hajj: Al-Rafas, Fasiq and Jidaal
