A bomb cyclone was said to be happening in the region a bit South of San Francisco. The type of storm drops atmospheric pressure and is supposed to push the atmospheric river more South.

T - Burn scars are making the storm dramatically worse. With a lot of the wildfires,  the wildfires created a lot of burn scars. They put a lot of threats within the area it surrounds as it offers potential life-threatening flash floods. I - Something interesting about the article is that while Northern California is experiencing heavy rainfalls, Washington and Oregon are experiencing more of high winds. 
T - Something troubling that I learned is that the California wildfires we're experiencing is potentially making this situation worse that it already is. Climate change is already adding irregular temperatures and a shift in precipitation. With the wildfires, the ground will not be able to soak up enough water, which is the reason why these flash floods are getting worse.
