1. Connectivity is increasing: As more devices use IoT, they become more vulnerable to IoT-specific attacks.
2. Additional approaches: As the internet connection grows, so do the possibilities for hacking the system.
3. The significance of information: In today's society, information is crucial, and those who possess it wield enormous influence. As a result, hackers are after information.
4. Automation: Because automated processes are, by definition, remote from individuals, they require similarly autonomous security measures.
5. Built-in safety features: As of currently, the majority of IoT appliances lack built-in security. To protect a device or an entire network from illegal access, the most frequent option currently is to include a third-party IoT security solution.

IoT attacks are cyber-attacks that use any IoT device to obtain access to consumers' sensitive data. Attackers typically install malware on the device, harm it, or get access to further company personal data.

For example, an attacker could obtain access to an organization's temperature management system by exploiting a security flaw in any IoT device. He can then control the temperature of the rooms that are linked to the relevant gadget.
