The best indicator for success, so far, is in creating a lesson plan (I call it a "Session Plan!"); this is just like one I would have developed in a face to face classroom, except I've carefully labeled which assets I'll need (including the type of asset I need to select when uploading and how I want to tag them). Then, I have an action plan - the steps I'll take in each session to ensure a smooth flow. For example, in my Colonial America Unit, I've indicated the activities in order of presentation. #1 is a brief lecture and there is even a video in place to accompany (but it is no way vital or central to the lesson, on the off chance that it doesn't play correctly or bandwidth is not sufficient); #2 is a review game for the end of the lesson where students draw on the white board and race each other to be the first to find the term I'm describing; #3 consists of activities I want the students to complete on their own time as Enrichment or Remediation; and #4 is a brief "Exit Ticket" survey that asks students to recap what they've learned. In addition to planing, PRACTICE! It's so important! Practice moving from pane to pane and switching assets within the panes; practice by inviting another teacher to preview your lesson. I truly enjoy the flexibility of Pane 1. I'm able to use the webcam to introduce myself to students, play music as I welcome them into a session, or play videos (as seen in the screenshot) that enhance my sessions. My plan for next semester, as I move into modern US History, is to open each session with music that is contemporary with the unit they're studying as way of introducing the lesson and "placing" my students in that particular time period. As for Pane 2, I'm able to upload multiple presentations and utilize them within a single session. Also, I appreciate being able to take a screenshot of one particular slide and place it on the Whiteboard for further and more in-depth examination. Here, you will see a screenshot of a map of Manifest Destiny; this is the end product but I use this to move the students from the East Coast to the West Coast (I actually allow students to annotate the White Board and show this as the Answer Key at the end of the lesson.)

To my eternal dismay, I did not capture the one use of Pane 3 that I'd intended - I had students create a list of items at the beginning of the session that they felt they needed the most help with, and then consulted that as we moved through the session. As students felt their questions had been answered, they were able to cross off those items from the list, and make notes for themselves as the session progressed and save those notes as a PDF. That said, another feature of Pane 3 that I love is the use of images - students can view these and I'm able to place them in the White Board. In this case, I used a Wordle and we played a quick review game that allowed students to race each other to be the first to cross off an item I was describing (that we'd also covered in the lesson from that day). Another use for Pane 4 that I truly enjoy is Weblinks. As we move toward the end of the semester, I want to share my Review Padlet with my students, and that can't be shared as an attachment. I belive I've shown you a full lesson plan that will benefit students from start to finish. I've incorporated all panes from the start  of the lesson to the finish so that students are engaged and have ample opportunity to discuss any areas in which they have questions. I will admit that is has gone beyond the two minutes allotted - but please note that I recorded this five different times in an effort to include all aspects within the timeframe; I suppose I'm asking for forgiveness for going a bit over the time allotted, but I wanted to ensure that I showed that all panes were utilized in this lesson, with the addition of the attachements pane. 

One thing I've learned about planning the session this way is that it really does allow for a smooth session; bugs are discovered early on and it provides great flow - and ensures I don't forget anything I've uploaded! I believe this has made my sessions more comprehensive for students and allows me to focus on the content and not the technical aspects of a session.
