As a result of this fact, contemporary cities harbor an intense flow of people and services and, at the same time, problems associated with such factors. In view of the large and growing world population, such urban centers are unable to meet, broadly and satisfactorily, all citizens, who see their inalienable rights disrespected.

In the first instance, it is emphasized that urbanization, at the national level, occurred in a fast and disorganized way. As a result, there are recurrent problems in infrastructure and sanitation, particularly in the metropolitan areas, which are at the forefront of the poorest sections of the population. In addition to the structural obstacles, there is the growing population, due to migratory movements and the birth rate, which leads to an urban macrocephaly, which causes difficulties of living.

In this context, it should be noted that, in association with urbanization, there is a business installation. From this, companies are attracted to certain cities, favoring real estate speculation and the valuation of services in the surroundings. Thus, the population with lower purchasing power ends up not having access to centers that concentrate capital and better basic services, such as health. In addition, the process of socio-spatial segregation done precisely for this purpose, through, for example, closed condominiums or cinemas and theaters with high prices is evidenced jointly.

From this perspective, the problem of urban mobility is added. This is usually deficient in public transport, making locomotion difficult and, by extension, access to certain areas of the cities. This difficulty strongly affects individuals residing in the urban peripheries, due to the obstacles to access, through displacement, to cultural places, healthy and of interest.

Therefore, it is perceived that the cities exhibit greatness, but expose, in association, problems to provide quality systems to all. Thus, it is essential that the Public Power transfers investments to adapt the urban infrastructure, while providing lower-cost transport to the poorest population. Society, in turn, must combat socio-spatial segregation through its own habits, not separating itself from certain citizens consciously. In this way, a truly urban environment will be created for all, with respect to their right.
