This means the continents were in different places 240 million years ago. The continents move because&nbsp; of plate tectonics.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Fossils can be used as evidence for plate tectonics because fossils that come from Asia can also be found in south america. Animals or dinosaurs would not have swam across the ocean the get to another continent that they didn't even know was there. For example, the only way to explain plate tectonics is that all continents used to be together and then separated over time causing the fossils to separate and belong on completely different continents. with out plate tectonics we would be one super continent and have no individual continents.</strong></div>]]></description>

For example the only way to explain the Himalayan is that India came in the plate of South Asia and started&nbsp; to form the mountain ranges.
