• Novel is from a person from Nigeria with Igbo culture and talks about their culture's experiences from before the British colonization and after as well. This novel explores the the Igbos' culture, traditions and how they were socially impacted.

Medical assisting programs:

• Having actual family members volunteer to come into class and provide medications for students to see and examine. This allows for real life questions and concerns not only through text books based on their experience's.

• Each week a family member from students can come in a provide recipes and formulas for culturally traditional foods and explain the importance of them.
