Her passion for public service pushed her to run in the 2022 Presidential Elections. Though she didn't win, we can't deny the fact that she touched and inspired so many people. Bayanihan was evident during those campaign rallies. To inspire kindness and public service requires a solid credibility that people can really see and feel. During the pandemic, when the people in authority are doing nothing, she stood up. I became one of the volunteers of the E-Konsulta - a program of her office that aims to address the bottleneck problems of the hospitals at that time. I was a witness of how many people volunteered and offered their time, personal equipment, services and professional advice for free. Despite her loss, she continued serving the needy through the establishment of the Angat Buhay Foundation.
