My proposal is an International Book Club where students from different countries meet virtually and engage with each other and the literary texts they read. Explaining their significance to their peers and reflecting on the influences of different cultural background on their reading experience.

Students could create a project to promote the critical thinking in different ways: they can participate in brainstorming sessions where team members can freely share and build upon ideas to generate innovative solutions. Collaborative projects that require students to work together to solve complex problems or create original content can also stimulate creative thinking. Additionally, group discussions, debates, or design challenges can help students practice evaluating and improving ideas collectively. By working together in these ways, students can develop their ability to think creatively and contribute to impactful outcomes as a team.

The "Global Environmental Challenges" eTwinning project connects students worldwide to explore and solve environmental issues like pollution and climate change through research and creative thinking. In this project, students collaborate to create digital models or simulations of innovative solutions, complemented by explanatory texts and videos. Their work culminates in a virtual exhibition, showcasing their ideas to the eTwinning community. This hands-on project not only enhances students' understanding of environmental science but also develops their skills in research, collaboration, and digital presentation, encouraging them to become proactive, environmentally aware citizens.

Reading and Creative thinking - Advertisements

We live in a certain environment that affects us, but we must not take everything that surrounds us for granted. Among others, we are influenced by advertisements and social networks. Critical thinking while exposed to numerous influences is very important. Students, like investigative journalists, will answer the five key questions - who, what, where, when and why - while analyzing advertisements. They will analyze old and new advertisements, compare them and answer the key questions: Who published the advertisement? Who is it intended for? How does it affect people? What are the good and bad sides? What is shown correctly or incorrectly? Students will analyze the advertisement of their own and other countries and exchange experiences. At the end, they will record a digital story of an informative character which will teach and give advice about the importance of critical thinking among children and young people.

They have promoted creative thinking, problem solving, collaboration etc. and of course mathematics. They included cryptology, algorithmization, geometry, etc. I think the projects have definitely supported the development of the skills assessed by PISA.

Sustainable education projects are ideal for developing the soft skills for 21st century. A project about the 17 goals develops many skills, like reading and understanding information. Furthermore, solving problems is important for variety of real world contexts. Talking about 17 goals you have to know about science. A project like “How to improve my life according to 17 goals” would be a good way to develop soft skills.
