Ana, still very young, was nominated First Ballerina at Teatro Guaíra (Curitiba-PR), where she stayed for 2 years. When she returned to her homeland, she joined the Associação de Ballet do Rio de Janeiro, and in 1981 she auditioned for the ballet at the Teatro Municipal in Rio de Janeiro, where she won the role of First Ballerina. Ana received numerous titles for the recognition of her work and dissemination of dance throughout the country.
