Summary of what e-learning is :

We can refer to e-learning as the teaching and learning that we receive online, that is, through the Internet and technology. Thus, e-learning should be understood as a training modality that aims to provide flexibility and personalization in the learning processes.

"IMPORTANCE"

E-learning is an excellent tool that can help users not only to consolidate knowledge and skills, thus increasing the autonomy and motivation of students for different topics.

Its advantages and disadvantages are as follows:

ADVANTAGE :

It enables and makes access and time in the process teaching-learning.

Real knowledge management: exchange of ideas, opinions, practices, experiences.

Collective enrichment of the learning process without boundaries.

Constant updating of the contents (logical deduction from the previous point).

DISADVANTAGES:

It requires more investment of time on the part of the teacher.

It requires minimum technological skills on the part of the teacher and the students.

It requires students to have skills for autonomous learning.
