My name is Milka del Monte, I’m 17 years old. I’ve been a Cohea student since freshman year. My hobbies are playing guitar, my grandpa it’s a guitar player and since I was little, he encouraged me to play and now we play together, I also enjoy photography. My favorite movies are the Harry Potter films, and my favorite show is the vampire diaries. I listen to any kind of music, it all depends on the situation. For fun I used to be in the cheer team which was a really cool experience and i also like to go out with my friends. My favorite type of food is pasta, therefore for me the best restaurant in Miami is Divieto Ristorante. In my opinion the coolest place to check out in Miami would be bayside.

I'm proud of working hard and getting 4 paw awards as a reward, passing my ap tests and my dual classes with a good score. One of my accomplishments at schools was getting into the cheer team without learning the try out requirements because my friends in the team convinced me to try out an hour before. In the near future I hope to graduate and go to a good university. My strengths I believe are that I'm very organized and determined while my weakness is that I'm very shy. I think there's always something to improve and doing it will always be better than don't doing it.

My plans for the future are all over the place because I'm not totally sure of what I want to do but for now I'm convince that I want to travel the world and get to know new cultures. When I grow up I want to be pediatrician because I really like kids and I want to help keep then healthy. I want to go to FIU because it has a great health program for those going into that world. My dream job is to be pediatrician.

A moment when I felt very exited and couldn't believe it was when I went to the Olivia Rodrigo guts tour and she sang my favorite song that wasn't in the setlist. I would say that the moment when I feel on top of the world is when I'm at concerts because that feeling when the lights goes off and my favorite artist comes out its inexplicable. I got to take home confetti and some f them were signed by her and other had messages for the fans and I felt really exited when I saw that and found out it was authentic and were wrote by herself. Also when I went to see Niall Horan and my inner child was s happy because I used to listen to one direction but since they disband I'm forced to go to their concerts separately.

One of the most embarrassing thing that's happened to me would have to be the time when I was in Cancun and I fell getting on the bus. we were going to a excursion and it was raining so the floor was slippery and when I went to get on the bus my shoe came off and I fell.

If I were a teacher I would give assignments that are fun and at the same time related to the real world so they can learn both in the classroom and about the real life. I'm a visual learner so for me to really understand and interiorize the information given to me I have to look at it. I think group projects would make this class exiting and fun and allow the students to get to know each other and make more friends. For me a perfect classroom is when we don't do the same type of assignments every class making us enjoy the class better.
