It resembles where we now stand as a community, slowly building our way back from the times we lost, healing and evolving. In 2019, the entire global community was struck by the wave of the Global Covid-19 induced pandemic. None of us were prepared for what was to follow. We were locked down. We were isolated, we were rendered both helpless and hopeless. Our lives had come to a standstill. 
As a community we were forced to go into an 'unnatural' and 'surreal' experience of being isolated, alone.

 Students were rendered both clueless and struck with a sense of helplessness, frustration, pain and anger. Our lives had come to a standstill. 
We were forced to go into an 'online' mode which did not work for most of us - due to the materialistic and other conditions that prevented us from accessing education, of thriving, learning and our experience of college. 

Our students are the unfortunate batch of the Covid-19 pandemic forced to create new habits, routines, spaces for ourselves. As most of us are  on the cusp of graduating, painfully we pen down our stories of how we experienced the pandemic. 

This volume of Munal has been long due in the making. We have struggled to get this piece published for numerous reasons and finally we get it all together. We thank the students who contributed for their heartfelt and raw contributions. We hope this provides some form of healing and closure. We put this together with love, hope, empathy and care.
