First time I’ve ever listened to an audio book and I’m hooked! I think some of the top things I gathered from the book are to have fun and infuse humor into each day. When students see you enjoy being here they will enjoy being here too. I love that he reminds us to let others know how thankful we are for them and to appreciate all the small things others do to help us along the way. I also appreciate the way he listens to his staff and encourages them to take risks and even though he may not always agree (the all white dress apparel) he is willing to join in if it is going to send his staff’s energy through the roof! Overall, it reminds me that I’m so very glad to have such amazing drivers and runners at SES to make me want to push myself to do better for our students. Thank you Mrs. Taylor for introducing me to Ron Clark and this fabulous new world of audio books! (T. Wicker)

I find myself daily evaluating the different types of people on the bus and who fits each role on my team or in the building. How these roles affect team dynamics is so interesting. Do the riders bring others down with them? Do the Runners bring up the joggers? etc...? What would my ideal team be comprised of?

With that, where do the students fit on this bus? What are their roles and how do their roles affect their classroom. Is there a way to inspire students to become Runners and Joggers?
