Ben Franklin was one of the most influential historical figures of the revolution. Ben Franklin first started of with his printing business, where he published the first political cartoon. He then got into politics. He first represented Pennsylvania in England, in 1757. After the stamp act was established and repealed, Ben started helping the 13 Colonies on pursuing independence. After that he was elected into the Second Continental Congress and helped draft the Declaration Of Independence, he also signed it too. He got France to join the Revolution on the side of the Continental Army. Those are the reasons that I think Ben Franklin was Important to the Revolutionary War.

Molly pitcher was born in the same year as Abigail Adams, 1744. Mary originally grew up in New Jersey but, later moved to Pennsylvania. Mary got her nickname, Molly Pitcher, by handing out pitchers of water to the thirsty soldiers. Also, the name Molly was like the name Molly, at the time. Molly was very brave for taking over the cannon when her husband collapsed onto the ground because of the heat. When the British fired the cannon, the cannon ball went right threw Molly's legs and tore the bottom of her skirt. After the battle was over a few years later she got an award of 40 dollars and worked in the state house. Molly died on January 22, 1832. She was 88 years old.

If it was not for his incredible writing skills the declaration of Independence would not have been written. In Thomas Jefferson's early life he was very smart and loved to read he went to school in Virginia on a plantation called tackhee. After 4 years there he stayed at home and helped work on his farm. Later he went to a college called William and Mary school, there he learned many hard things that not many people would learn. For example metaphysics and phisoligy.

John Hancock was a very helpful person in the Revolutionary War. He helped people who could not afford to buy items under taxation by smuggling items into the colonies and selling them at a lower price. Did he let the law stop him? Most certainly not. Even when English officers wanted to board one of hid boats, he stood his ground and did not let them board. This marvelous man did much more that smuggle.
