Objective:

Materials Needed:

An empty and clean plastic bottle (clear)

Scissors (with adult supervision)

Tape or decorative tape

Permanent markers

String, ribbon, or lanyard (can be reused)

A card (used card or handmade)

Hole punch (optional)

Steps:

1. Wash and dry the plastic bottle.

Make sure the bottle is clean and has no residue inside.

2. Cut the bottle.

Cut a flat part of the bottle (like the body) to the desired size of the badge holder. You can round the corners so there are no sharp edges.

3. Form the badge holder.

Use two equal pieces of plastic if you want a front and back cover, or just one if you prefer a single-sided holder.

4. Seal the edges.

Use tape to stick the sides together, leaving one edge open to insert the card.

5. Decorate your holder.

Use permanent markers to draw or write on the plastic. You can add your name, drawings, or colorful designs.

6. Make a hole to hang it.

Carefully punch a hole at the top using a hole punch or scissors (with help from an adult).

7. Insert your card.

Put a decorated or ID card inside the holder.

8. Attach the string or ribbon.
