<title>Great White Sharks are now protected. Due to their lifespan of 70 years, there are more sharks hanging around and they can have up to 20 babies!</title>

<title>Great White Sharks are being sighted off the coast of Maine and Massachusetts close to swimmers (within three feet of shore). Because the ecosystem is getting healthier, and grey seals are coming back, sharks are coming to eat seals (their main source of food). People are afraid, so they are wanting to bait and kill the sharks in order to rid the swimming areas of sharks. However, this has been implemented in Australia, and has been shown to be ineffective. Result - wait till the seals go away to swim.</title>

<title>Great White Sharks are being seen off the coast of Maine because there is an over-abundance of seals and other prey such as spiny dogfish, tuna, and harbor porpoise.</title>
