 1.  Rome's control
Rome controlled much of this area due to. Them being persecutors, they had their own laws and rules which controlled the jews and Gentiles. Rome also had a large influence on different countries such as tarsus which was basically a roman country. That is why Paul grew up as a persecutor because of his mainly roman upbringing. It went on until Paul's influence and Jesus message got across and started affecting everyday life for others including himself .
2. Languages used
The main languages that were used in the world behind the text were, Greek. Greek was the most common language spoken. This is because the area that he travelled was mainly full of ethnic Greek people due to the influence of location.                        
 3.Ethnic cultural groups
 Greek people were the most common culture back in the world behind the text. Also jewish people and of course Galatian people. This is evident through St Paul's letters. They explain the religious followers and groups such as the example above.
4. Regions/City
In this time, goods and people were transported using very simple things. The main way that people were transported was just by foot. An example of this is St Paul's journey. Everywhere he travelled was by foot asides when he had to travel across water, in that case he used a boat. Goods however were transported using a cart like machine. This had wheels made to travel smoothly and faster. This device came in handy when temples or houses were being built to receive materials quicker.
5. Regions and cities 
 In St Paul's letters he highlighted main regions and areas through his mission. Some of these were regions such as Asia minor and Macedonia. Some major cities that were spoken about were Corinth, Jerusalem and Tarsus. He changed his name to live a simpler Christian life. Also Saul was known as a roman name. When he was struck by the light of Jesus it was so powerful that it left him blind for three whole days. This was when he started to develop his missionary group. He travelled the shortest and converted many Gentile people to christians. These people came from religious backgrounds such as Judaism, Islam and asian religions. This first missionary journey was in 47 AD and lasted 18 months, he mainly travelled in the areas around Asia Minor. He began in Antioch and ended up all the way in Derbe. They all had a different and special meaning.  An example of one of these messages was his letter to the Galatians.  This letter spoke about the importance of God and how he looks over us. Throughout his preachings he had common main messages, which were usually surrounding the significance of God and his care for everyone.  St Paul showed his message through his letter to the corinthians. Its main message is to teach churches to move faithfully towards Jesus and God.
