There are likely areas that need to be standardized but there will also be areas that can be specific to different areas. The evaluation will be for steering committees and ministry. The Ministry will have requirements but they don't have them out yet.

Nisslaa Naay Choice to use funding for supporting Allied Health

This is a PCN for Haida Gwaii which is based on the north end of the islands. Niislaa Naay is the health centre in the community of Old Massett. For their funding they have chosen to hire increased allied health professionals. This is somewhat different from other PCNs in the region who have used their funding to support hiring primary care providers. This (like all our PCNs) needs evaluation but also there is likely a case study here regarding what outcomes this choice has resulted in. A case study is one of the outcomes of the evaluation that is likely.
