In this scene Madeline´s tutor comes to her house so he can view her artitecture project. Madeline feels guilty and bad and that her disease is causing a pain for everyone around her. I am inferring this because in the text it states, ¨Having a visitor is a big deal because they have to agree to a medical background check and a through physical. Also they have to be decontaminated...It's a pain to come see me.¨ This quote supports my inference cause she herself says that its a pain to come see her. This is why I think Madeline feels bad and thinks that her disease is causing a pain for everyone around her.

In this part of the story Madeline meets her neighbor, Olly, for the first time ever. During this meeting something happens that helped me make an inference about Madeline and how she feels about her disease. Olly says to go outside forgetting about Madeline´s sickness and immediately says sorry. In this scene Madeline replies with, ¨Stop, I say. I stand up and hold a hand out . ¨Do not feel sorry for me.¨ I say this harshly, but it's too important a point. I couldn´t stand pity coming from him.¨ Knowing this I came to an conclusion that Madeline hates when people feel sorry for her. She doesn't wish for their pity and sorrow. This is why I think Madeline hates when people feel sorry for her.

So far my most favorite part of this story is the story itself. In my opinion I think that the author did a spectacular job with the plot of the story. So to answer the question, yes indeed I recommend this book.

As soon as Madeline finds out about her new neighbors she immediately starts observing them also known as stalking. She explains to readers about Olly´s and his family´s every move. Madeline notes down each family member's schedule. From morning to night she records everything she can see. My point is that Madeline gets very bored living with a disease like hers. She is pleased to do anything to keep her from getting bored even if its stalking her neighbors.

As the reader knows Madeline has a rare disease where she is basically allergic to the world, so if she steps out of her house she might die. Now that she has stepped outside I predict that Madeline´s life will be in danger.

The main conflict in the book Everything Everything, is that the main character, Madeline is diagnosed with an illness that makes her allergic to the rest of the world. This one problem leads to many others. This conflict yes indeed affects the story. Because of this conflict Madeline feels like a normal teenage girl. But this conflict also puts Madeline´s life is in danger.

I think that living with this illness Madeline´s always excited and ready to try new things. I think this because when Olly comes over to her house she is tempted to try a handstand. Eager enough she keeps asking Olly to teach her soon he gives in and teaches her. After many tries Madeline is unable to do a handstand but she refuses to give up and refuses to let Olly lose hope in her. She tries and tries and finally gets it. I think that this scene helps answer my question because the reader learns that living with a disease Madeline has time and patience to learn new things.

Even though Madeline has never stepped foot in the outside world and hasn´t truly seen the world she would do anything for her loved ones. This answers my question because I believe that living with a rare disease has given Madeline the understanding that she should always be there for her loved ones. Madelines doesn't have many loved ones, only three and for those three she is so thankful. Madeline is willing to give her life for any one of them because she knows the real value for them. In the book Olly, the boy she has feelings for, gets hurt by his dad while watching this Madeline couldn't let her friend from getting hurt. She bursts out of her house, without thinking that she could put her life in danger, just to save Olly. This proves my understanding that living with a disease has made Madeline capable of understanding the value of a loved one.

She wants to be treated equally so she's often jealous about how others are treated. In the book there were moments where Esperanza was ashamed of where she lived. There was also a time when she wanted to sit in the canteen with the other kids. But at the end she realized she didnt belong and she will never be happy with them because of who she is. These events lead to concluding that Esperanza was full of sorrow and often became jealous of others' beauty or privileges. I think this because I believe that Akilini wants to be friends with Kahlen because in the story he tries to talk with her.

In this part of the book, Kahlen heads to the library and starts reading baking books. Akilini notices her as and proceeds to walk towards her. Kahlen tries her best to avoid him because he doesn't know the danger she causes and so for the safety of her and his she chooses to ignore him. He goes up to her and starts off the conversation about why she was reading baking recipes, Kahlen ignores him completely but he continues. He puts out his hand and Kahlen finally gives and shakes it. A few moments into the conversation Akilini finds out Kahlen's mute but can hear(which she is not.) Kahlen signs that she is though because she knows what will happen if her voice is heard. Even after finding this out Akilini seems to be so interested in Kahlen. He is so nice to her and speaks so calmly. Kahlen starts to warm to him. In the text it states, "You look stressed. You could probably use a party. I couldn't suppress my smirk." At this point into their little meeting the reader infers that Akilini will play a major part in Kahlen's life and their relationship will sort of strength. This is why I think this part of the story plays a role to my question.

As he is talking Kahlen spills her thoughts to the reader. "I liked that he just started speaking as if we were already in the middle of a conversation." Is what she says but later adds more. She explains how when she is with him she feels happy and normal. "...and I remembered how normal he'd made me feel the first time we'd met... He saw me not just as a mysterious beauty, but as a girl he wanted to know." This part of the text helped the reader infer that Kahlen felt comforted and happy around Akilini. Like she says, on page 59, "...I began to wonder how one boy was having such an effect on me," I think that the more and more Kahlen and Akilini meet up, Kahlen's feelings for him get stronger. I think this because Kahlen always wants to be obedient and a rule follower. While that is good, she never wants to take any risks that may affect that label. Later in the story she meets a boy who she really likes. She tries her best to keep far from her because she knows she isn't supposed to be talking to him since it may cost his life. But she still does, she loves being around him and wants him so she doesn't avoid him. This is a big risk for her to take and yet she still does because she's tried of being held back. While they both were baking the cake Akilini asks Kahlen what he should major in. This is an important part of the story because it shows the reader that Akilini trusts Kahlen enough to ask her a question that will affect his life. Like the book states, "...you're probably very perceptive. So as an experiment, I'd like to know what you think I should be studying." This is a significant quote because not only does this quote show how Akilini trusts Kahlen to make a important decision for him but it also shows how closely he observes Kahlen since he says how she is perceptive. This scene from the text answers my annotation question because it shows how much Akilini trusts and knows Kahlen and thus shows the reader that their relationship is developing.

This story is very unique and she does a great job with the plot. Another thing she does a great job with is conveying the feelings and thoughts of the characters. Sometimes she uses figurative language and other times she simply puts their thoughts into words. She uses flashbacks ever so often to give information to the reader. So, I guess it's safe to say that the author has done a great job with the book so far.

Kahlen's fear of hurting Akilini or herself grows to the point she thinks it's best for her to move away. While this may seem like Kahlen is giving up on him it also shows something else to the reader. It shows how much she cares about Akilini to leave him. Kahlen's feelings for him is so strong that she is willing to forget them to protect him. But at the same time it shows the reader that Kahlen is giving up on him, and she knows too. On page 79, it stays, "I need to go." My tone was close to embarrassed, shamed by my weakness." This quote shows how Kahlen knows that what she is doing is gonna affect her in the future and how much pain she is going through but all she cares about is Akilini's safety. This scene answers my question because it shows how much Kahlen cares about Akilini and how strong her feelings are towards him.

After having a really bad argument with the Ocean, Kahlen left to whole other town without even realizing where she came. Port Clyde, Akilini's home town. Ever since Kahlen left they both haven't talked at all except when Akilini texted her, worriedly. When Akilini lays his eye on Kahlen he melts of happiness. During the six months they were apart a lot had happened. Akilini's parents passed away, Kahlen had a new sister, but through it all Kahlen was thinking about him and he was thinking about her. On page 145, like Akilini says, "I've thought a lot about you," he continued without looking at me. "When you disappeared, I was really worried." This quote doesn't just show the reader how much they both love each other but proves it. This scene answers my annotation question because it proves to the reader that Kahlen and Akilini's relationship is stronger than ever.
