I want to preserve the culture of Japan in the Kaleidoscope project because the globalization of Japanese culture. Japan had a history of 200 years seclusion form other countries, form 1623 to 1641 they developed their own unique culture without other countries' influences. However, in 1853 Commodore Matthew Perry of the United States Navy threaten Japan to open up to the world with the Paixhans guns on his ships. Then Japan signed treaties of friendly relationships with the US, United Kingdom and other Western countries. Starting form this point Japan began to send missions to the Western world, learning technologies from them. This action of learning from the Western world to improve themselves already made Japan globalized. Nowadays Japan has one of the world's biggest population and one of the best tourism industry, these allow people to communicate massively between Japan and the rest of the world, made the globalization grow.
