But my admiration for her didn’t stop there. I continued to follow her journey through social media, where she stood out as an exceptional Edufluencer. Her ability to motivate and guide novice teachers, like myself, to step into the world of education influence was phenomenal. In fact, it was through her encouragement that I became an Edufluencer 2.0 myself. Over time, we’ve exchanged countless ideas, insights, and experiences about our teaching practices and the challenges we face in schools.

There was even a time when we had the honor of inviting her to Batang Padang district to conduct a sharing session with our fellow English teachers. The session was not only fun but incredibly insightful, filled with practical advice and fresh perspectives.

One of Pn. Aishah’s greatest achievements was leading a group of about 20 English teachers to the DELTA Conference in Kedah, where we had the opportunity to present and exchange ideas at an international level. This was a milestone none of us would have reached without her unwavering support and guidance.

What sets Pn. Aishah apart is her genuine desire to see others succeed. She consistently encourages us to grow alongside her because she believes that success is meant to be shared, not kept for oneself. Personally, I deeply admire her for fostering this sense of collective growth.

Kak Aishah, thank you for always inspiring me and so many others. Wishing you continued success and happiness in both your life and career.

Mengenali beliau sebagai seorang guru yang suka berkongsi idea..ghairah dalam menyusun langkah2 pengajarannya..selalu meminta nasihat untuk memperbaiki pengajarannya..apa lagi nak dikatakan tentang wanita ini..? Inilah manusia guru yg di dalamnya ada roh guru..semoga Allah mengurniakan keberkatan dalam hidupnya dan anak2 muridnya serta siapa sahaja di sekelilingnya..

Guru..ibarat kasturi..ia wangi dan mewangikan…

You can see it in the way she educates, how devoted she is towards her job and how she makes sure her students understand what she's teaching but also tries to make them have fun at the same time. It makes me wonder every now and then if she is aware that it is working hours.

Sometimes, during or outside of class lessons, she entrusts me with teaching my peers about English. Now, I am aware that this is known as peer teaching and it can be very beneficial not only to those who are learning, but also to those who are sharing the knowledge they have. It was never my intention to be a teacher or an educator in the future, but because I got to feel how fun teaching is thanks to peer teaching, I am now a proud USM student taking TESOL, following the footsteps of one remarkable Madam Aishah.

Other than classroom lessons, she also tries to bring out any hidden talents her students might not be aware of. It was how I managed to have the experience with public speaking in both Malay and English, and also being an emcee. If it wasn't for her trust in me to carry these out, I don't think I'll ever realise I am able to do them.

I think I've said enough, but to be honest, there are many things I have yet to say. One thing for sure though, is that I am forever grateful to be able to experience her classes and how she is like a second mother to me, and I believe that whatever opportunities that comes knocking on her door, it is something she fully deserves.❤️❤️

Setting Madam Aishah as my benchmark during my undergraduate TESL journey was no easy feat, as her standards were incredibly high. Her creative approaches and engaging lessons—incorporating props, captivating videos, DIY materials and many more—can be replicated, but the skills, passion, and energy are always unmatched. Yet, while striving to live up to her example, I was honoured to receive the Role Model Award for the faculty out of over 500 TESL students. With Madam Aishah's encouragement, I then became the youngest educator at a prestigious university in Kuala Lumpur, and I’ve since learned to never underestimate the impact of a great teacher. Seven years out of school, I can never predict where her profound influence will cease.

Though her former students now return as software developers, PhD researchers, executives, lawyers, engineers, educators, and more, we are always quick to acknowledge that we are, quite simply, the products of a remarkable teacher who laughed along with our mischievous antics in class years ago; who was always ready with a congratulating or comforting hug; and who was just as quick to offer words of encouragement when our confidence ran low. She is the kind of teacher we hope to meet for tea and conversation for many years to come. This is the teacher we fondly call Madam Aishah ❤️

Her classroom is a vibrant space filled with student-created displays celebrating literary achievements. She often goes above and beyond by encouraging students to engage with her teaching material on a personal level.

Outside of classroom hours, she collaborates with community organizations to promote literacy, volunteering her time to mentor aspiring students and facilitate workshops for adults seeking to improve their English skills.

Her caring nature and empathy make her a trusted confidante for students, who appreciate her willingness to listen and support them through their challenges. By fostering a love of language and writing, she's not only empowers her students academically, but also inspires them to express their voices in the world. It’s no wonder she’s a beloved figure in Perak—her impact resonates far beyond the classroom.

Madam Aishah's passion for teaching and her dedication to her students were truly admirable. She always took the time to get to know each of us, and I’m incredibly grateful to have been one of her students.

Now, as I pursue my PhD in the UK and live abroad, I often reflect on how far I’ve come—thanks to the solid foundation she helped me build. What once felt daunting, speaking English now comes naturally to me, and I owe so much of that to her unwavering encouragement, patience, and belief in me.

Madam Aishah remains as one of the teachers that I look up to growing up. The way she believed in her students & gave opportunity when she is able to, will be one I will always be grateful for.

A teacher / debate coach that is not only devoted to her students' successes. Some days, she is like a loving mother scolding her children when we have misdirected ourselves or are in the wrong, while some days, she is like an elder sister teasing you / joining the bandwagon to tease you apart from being your strongest supporter cheering you on.

She's honest and true to herself, no matter how challenging the situation gets. No matter how tireless it can be.

It's rare that you can find a mother & a sister in a teacher and that's what makes her special.

I hope she knows she is loved by so many around her and she will always remain in her students minds & hearts even as time passes by.

I hope she knows that her students' successes are part of hers too.

Saya mula mengenali beliau ketika Malaysia Teacher Prize 2022. Kali pertama melihat dah nampak ketrampilan dan kewibawaan beliau sebagai seorang guru. Seorang yang sentiasa kreatif dan tidak lokek berkongsi ilmu.

Kesungguhan yang ditunjukkan melayakkan beliau sentiasa memenangi pertandingan yang disertai. Tidak ramai yang mempunyai kebolehan hebat dalam dunia pendidikan ini dan beliau adalah salah seorang daripadanya.

To me personally, she stands out as an outstanding orator, capable of motivating and rallying any crowd. Her passion towards education, be it in a classroom or a workshop to support fellow teachers, is immediately self-evident and inspiring others to follow suit.

Regardless of her efforts beyond the classroom, her anchor will always be her students and she will do whatever is within her abilities to ensure they perform well academically besides being confident in employing the English language.
