Deforestation, the large-scale removal of forests, has a profound impact on the environment. While it's often discussed in terms of biodiversity loss and climate change, one significant yet sometimes overlooked consequence is the increased risk of flooding. In this discussion, let's explore how deforestation exacerbates flooding, looking at both scientific explanations and real-world examples.
