I was very nervous about starting my post graduate diploma as it had been 32 years since I was last in formal education. I truly enjoyed the diploma and learned so much and feel so much more confident in my abilities. The deadlines were tight but once into a routine it was a great way on focusing on targets with work and family committments to stay ahead of. While learning online is certainly a different way from the traditional methods it was one of pressure as I felt everyone was there to help each other on the discussion forums as many a time when I was stuck on an issue in an assignment someone else had the same problem and was willing to give advice on the matter. I felt the tutors were excellent in terms of any issues raised that they replied to issues within a short period of time.

The quality and content was really excellent. It is a tough course with a lot of deadlines, so be prepared. The elearning element was a real plus for me and works really well. DCU have brought a whole new dimension to collaborative and distance learning, providing the technology, skills, and know how to allow students feel fully engaged, but also to start a new journey of gaining a deeper understanding of topics and key concepts through directed research and sharing ideas and information.
The materials, tutorials and assignments are well crafted, to create a powerful learning environment.  I was so surprised at the amount of knowledge I had gained on completion of assignments.

Very positive experience, excellent content and support, hopefully continue to complete the MSc. I have gained a lot more relevant academic and practical knowledge than I could ever have imagined or anticipated, highly enjoyable and recommended.
