Exciting Opportunity to Join Our OCYL Team in Cumberland, RI!

As we prepare to say a warm farewell and wish the best to our wonderful music teacher of 9 years, Miss Ashli Gilles, in her next exciting chapter, the doors are open for a new educator to join our Early Childhood family! Miss Ashli will be greatly missed, but she'll still be around as a substitute and to co-teach the annual Buggin' Out mini-camp in June!

We are officially looking for a Music & Movement Teacher for ages 0–5 to keep the music, laughter, and learning going this upcoming Fall, Winter, and Spring.

If you are an energetic teacher who loves working with young children and parents, check out the details in our flyer below! Classes are held on Wednesdays and Thursdays starting in October.

We are seeking an innovative, hands-on, and community-focused Makerspace Specialist to help inspire creativity, curiosity, and lifelong learning through PPL's makerspace. As a member of the Youth Services team, you will support engaging maker education programs for children, teens, and adults while providing exceptional service in the Workshop. The ideal candidate enjoys teaching others, is comfortable using makerspace technologies such as 3D printers, laser cutters, vinyl cutters, sewing machines, and other creative tools, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to mentor youth, facilitate equipment trainings and Open Studios, encourage creative exploration, and help cultivate an inclusive makerspace where community members of all ages can discover new skills, solve problems, and bring their ideas to life.

MCSRI Roots and Wings Afterschool Instructors

Montessori Community School of RI is hiring for our school year 'Roots and Wings' afterschool program! We're looking for creative, fun, and caring educators with a background in early childhood education. Our preschool serves students 18 months to 6 years. We are a Montessori school, but our afterschool program is more flexible on curriculum- some background with Montessori approaches is great but not required as long as you're up for learning. The start date September 1, 2026. 15 hrs a week (M-F 2:30pm-5:30pm), $20/hr.
