The Boston Massacre happened becuase there was an argument between a British soldier and a colonist. Thus argument grew and eventually a soldier was hit with an object and then fired into the crowd. Later, other soldiers fired and 3 colonists died instantly ad 2 more from wounds. The Boston Tea Party happened because The british had made a tax on tea and it was everyone in Britains favorite drink. So to protest lots of colonists Went to the boat and dressed up as Mohawk Indians and they threw all of the tea into the water. They threw milions of dollar ( in current time money) Into the ocean to be wasted. The battle of Lexington was barely even a battle. There were 80 American soldiers facing a lot bigger amount of British soldiers. Neither of them expected to fight. But suddenly out of the blue someone shot one of the guns. No one knows if it was an american soldier or if it was a British soldier. Then everyone started firing. Some Colonists were killed and others left. This first gunshot was known as the "shot heard around the world."  The battle of condcord was more of a battle but still not huge. As the British were reatreating the colonists were firing at at the Britsh. These acts were a punishment for the Boston tea party. Many colonists were upset about these acts becuase they were to the whole city when it was only few that acted in the crime. Britain made 5 acts which were,  The  Boston port act, Which meant no boats until they paid for the tea,  The massachusets Government acts, which meant it gave more powere to the governer and he was on Great britains side. They also made Administration of Justice Act, . Quartering Act, and lastly the Quebec Act.
