I found it so interesting that she is able to maintain so many of her family traditions and values but still be such a progressive thinker and strong powerful women. She is a role model to others. It is interesting also to see that her love of science came from her father and how he believed that at such a young age, she should be allowed to have the experience of learning about science and mathematics that wasn't available to her in the all girls school.
