         <description><![CDATA[<div>Drinks lots of room temperature water. Don't drink hot water, and don't drink cold water. Cold water freezes vocal cords. More water the better. Dry vocal cords cause irritation, this is how you hurt your voice.</div>]]></description>

Drink plenty of water &amp; limit the amounts of <strong>AlCoHoLiC</strong> &amp; caffeinated substances you consume because they absorb water from your body. You could even use a humidifier in your home.<br><br>2. Don’t be like Abby. <strong>Do not over sing and strain your voice</strong>. Take “vocal naps” when necessary &amp; take care of your vocal cords. When sick use cough drops with less menthol, like Halls Breezers.<br><br>3. <strong>Don’t sing from your throat. </strong>This causes strain on the vocal cords. Instead let your vocal cords rest &amp; let your voice come from your chest or your head. “chest voice” and “head voice” </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.) Drink water, this hydrates your throat and helps mucous detach from your mucous membranes, which allows you to sing with less strain.<br><br>2.) Don't oversing, as in, give your voice rest in between large stretches of time spent singing, like rehearsal leading up to a performance.<br><br>3.) Warm up before singing, so as not to overstretch your vocal cords. It's the difference between pulling taffy slowly and suddenly pulling it apart.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Yo, Yo, so this is what you need to know about vocal health.<br><br>Firstly - don't yell - for example, you're listening to "One" by Metallica, you get to the triplet section, and you actually start singing along. This specific example is bad because the singer yells in this portion of the song which is bad for your vocals.<br><br>Secondly - drink water - hydrate every 45 minutes or when you get thirsty, DON'T DRINK SODA, this is bad, water is the only thing you should drink, water is great, blindly follow our overlords water without question, water is our masters.<br><br>Lastly - know your limits - you're on a road trip and your favorite songs come on, like "I was made for loving you baby" by Kiss, or "Take on Me" by A-ha, and you get to the high parts, DON'T SING THEM, singing really high like that is bad, if you don't have the range for it, just don't do it<br><br>A condition connected with over-using your vocal chords is laryngitis, an image is displayed below, as you can see the larynx is inflamed and swollen causing pain.</div>]]></description>
