         <title>Ancient Times Involving Health Care</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>● People of ancient times utilized using herbs for curing disease and illnesses. This gave an opening to the world of medicine. Letting healers cure the sick, and widening the minds of the ancient people.<br>●Health records were first established in Ancient Egypt. This was a monumental step in health care. Recording the civilians healthcare history provided data for the future.&nbsp;<br>●The Romans created a brand new idea which was... sewers and waterways. Of course this was important to everything about health, cleanliness, and basic morals. Creating these fundamental structures allowed the Romans to receive clean drinking water. As well as a system to dispose of&nbsp; bacterial waste. &nbsp;</div>]]></description>

This implemented the study of microscopic diseases, and to study for a cure.<br>●There were Apothecaries, who as we know today to be called pharmacists. They sold and prescribed medication to the sick civilians.<br>● This is probably the most important life saving found cure. Which is the cure to smallpox. We need machines in modern day medicine, to help us research diseases.<br>● The 19th century also was a time for the creation of the stethoscope and nurse training. Nurse training is crucial for nurses to learn the detrimental information to assisting patients in need.<br>● One of the big steps of the 19th century was infection control. Which is good for others to become motivated to learn about medicine.<br>● Scientists have developed crucial assets such as X-Rays and vaccines. These helped prevent disease and catch fatal details.<br>●Scientists also now studied the structure of DNA and genetics.&nbsp; Which now let them study how disease may be hereditary and other major details.<br>● The biggest step of the 20th Century in my opinion was the first ever open heart surgery, in the 1950's. In modern day hospitals open heart surgery is a crucial surgery that would lead to people dying if it weren't a possibility.<br>● With the invention of computers give healthcare workers the chance to use computer technology in many aspects.<br><br></div>]]></description>

Doctors have developed a genetic test for prostate cancer due to Human Genomes.<br>● Heart disease deaths drop by 40%! I think this is a huge event for our modern day.
