The Germans killed 1.1 million inmates out of the 1.3 million. the other 200,000 either escaped or were let out. they were in there for a total of 3 to 6 months. 

2) What were the tracks?. They were designed for trains to pick up and drop off jews and other enemy allies. To go to other concentration camps or extermination camps. 

3) The Jews were mainly killed in gas chambers. It was the most effective way to do it at the time.
