How you treat your body will impact your energy and mood at work. One of the best antidotes to stress and burnout is movement and exercise. Find ways to take a short walk during breaks or participate in movement activities in the classroom. Eat energy boosting snacks throughout the day. Avoid sweets and starchy carbs, since they can make you feel fatigued. Most importantly, make sure that you are getting plenty of rest so that you can come to your classroom energized and ready to teach.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmytSnFX7Cs

Taking on more than you can handle is one way for your stress levels to quickly escalate. Many are natural born people pleasers and feel like they need to volunteer for everything or they have the most difficult time saying "no". You have to learn to set limits. If you find yourself being asked to take on an additional role or task, and it is more than you think you can handle, learn to politely say no.

When faced with a stressful situation, it is so difficult to have a positive mindset. Research has shown that one of the most effective coping strategies for dealing with stress is positive reframing, acceptance, and humor. Try to find positive aspects of an outcome that you perceive as a failure, and then try reframing it in a positive way. For example, focus on what you have achieved rather than what has not been achieved. Try not to dwell on setbacks, but instead accept it, learn from it, and if it is a small one, find humor in it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8bGn3m6Gqg

Don't let the little things at work drive you crazy. Learn to pick your battles. Letting little things take over your life only creates more unnecessary stress for yourself and others. Create a "whatever box" and when you find yourself getting upset over something silly, write it down, ay "whatever", and place it in your box. This will quickly add more peace to your life.

A great way to buffer stress and feelings of burnout is to build a network of social support at work. This doesn't mean you have to be best friends with people you work with, it simply means taking time to develop friendships with other co-workers. When you are taking breaks, engage with other colleagues instead of looking on your smart phone or browsing the internet. Schedule social events together after work.
