I used a relatively fast shutter speed, because it was bright out that morning, and i didn't want the photo to get over-exposed.

I used a small aperture, because I wanted the whole photo to be in focus, driftwood, beach grass & all

I used the rule of thirds to first draw attention to the driftwood, then left the rest of the portrait to the vegetation. the wood isn't necessarily the focal point; it gives room for the rest of the photo to be appreciated, that being the serene grass of Crown Beach.

I significantly raised the brightness and saturation of the colors in photoshop to make the colors more visible, and pop out more in the photo. the colors you see would in actuality be a lot duller in person.

I edited my photo in photo shop by adjusting the color balance between the rocks and art piece, and also there was a big Styrofoam log blacking the art piece so we photoshopped to to blend in with the grass.

For rules pf composition, I used mainly viewpoint to draw attention to my subject. I used viewpoint by getting fairly close to the subject and taking the photo from a side angle to really be able to capture the entirety go the subject.

The major changes I made in photoshop was the exposure . In my photo I wanted the red on the shoes to really pop and stand out. I also wanted the green bushes to pop out . Was able to do this by making the exposure higher through the use of photoshop.

I used a really slow shutter speed because I wanted light to be my subject and a slow shutter speed makes light appear as dashes.

In this picture I used an aperture that wasn't too high or low. I wanted everything to be visible, but I was shooting from behind a fence, so I didnt want the fence to be too visible.

I definitely use a lot of leading lines. I used the car lights to point to the rest of the city but the lines themselves are also meant to be a focal point.

I edited my photo by turning up the saturation, turning down the brightness, and turning up the contrast. I chose these edits so that the lights would stand out more. I wanted the lights to look surreal so I had to make them really pop.

I edited my picture by making the background such as the windows and posters more blurry. I didnt want these thigns to distract from Nathalee standing in the middle of the stairs.

I used a medium aperture, I wanted the people in the backround to look like shadows so thats why i used the medium aperture, to get more of the backround.

I used contrast to attract more focus to the bright oramge backround.

I made the Image darker to increase the lighting of the sunset and to make the people look like figures

I used leading lines and framing for my photo. The original photo was framed in between 2 poles that is what the two dark lines are they led up to the focus of the photo aka the crow.

I used framing to draw attention to the river, the tree in this image being a border that makes the viewer turn to the middle of the photo to notice the water and its vibrancy.

I changed the hues and saturation of mostly the blue and cyan colors as that is what would allow for a more attention calling feel to the water. Brightness and contrast would allow for some more pop but also clear separation between the items around the subject (I.e the grass and tree).
