Not many people out there think about the lives that some others are going through, or how hard some others have it. They don't take into effect the struggles others are going through. Watching these two videos really opened my eyes and made me realize to always look out for the ones in my life. Whether that be me supporting them on something they feel very strong about, or just always being there for them when others aren't. Both videos showed all of their audiences the importance of standing up for what you believe in. And thats the number one thing everyone needs to see and or hear. The videos both showed true identity very well. In the first it was about Roxane Gay speaking on her feminism, and how she's a "bad feminist", she said many times throughout the video "I'm a mess" and that was her way of telling us how hard it really is to support such a courageous thing that gets hated on all the time. Women must fight for how they feel. Reggie states I feel like a person should be able to be who they wanna be, and I couldn't agree more.

In France the meaning of the name Josephine is: May Jehovah add. Which means an addition to the family. My dad grew up watching the television show Dawson's Creek, where the main female actress played by Katie Holmes, was named Josephine. She went by Joey most of the show, but in one episode she was arguing with another guy and he yelled out "Josephine" and my dad fell in love with the name, he then persuaded my mom to name me that. Over the years I never really liked my name I thought it was super old timey, but now that Imm getting older I love it. My middle name; Ann, is both of my grandmothers middle names, and my mother. So I do plan on passing it onto my daughter and hope that it keeps getting passed on. Ive opened up how opinionated I am on some topics, that I simply do not ever address, because I live with my dad and its not something he will bring up to talk about. Writing wise, I also think I have improved. I knew most of the basics, but learning that there is an MLA template made life much much easier. I'll most definitely take all the little skills I learned with me onto other classes. For example the color coded body paragraph and analysis. The second essay was my favorite, I felt as if it was easier to talk about the world we live in rather than the people that live in it. My least favorite essay would have had to been this last one we did.
