Early Life

I was born on June 17th, 2004 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to parents from Taiwan. I moved to Bentonville when I was a year old, an ever-developing town I still live to this day. It wasn't until I was four years old that I began to speak, which led my parents to become curious and discover my diagnosis of autism (Asperger syndrome, but that term stopped existing). As a result, I grew up differently than others, especially the rest of my family, but despite highs and lows, I haven't allowed it to negatively define who I am today!

Early Education To Graduation

I first started school at Elm Tree Elementary School from kindergarten to 4th grade. I made a lot of friends there! Then, in 2013, we moved houses, albeit remaining in Bentonville, so I ended up in a new environment at Bright Field Middle School, where I adapted quickly and made more friends, which I remained with from there to Fulbright Junior High School. My transition to Bentonville High School saw me miss out on almost all of my friends from middle school due to residential zones, but I moved forward from there, and eventually, with satisfactory grades, graduated high school with flying colors!

Today

I officially became a Fayetteville Razorback at UARK after NWACC! I chose to go there because it's close to where I live, but not before attending NWACC first in Bentonville to have a better start to my journey toward my bachelor's degree for my communications major. It was a bit scary at first, but I quickly grew accustomed to the new environment. It's way different than a community college, and if it weren't for my sister, I would've struggled more if I started at UARK instead. I continued my major in communications and intend to graduate in May 2026 with a bachelor's. I want to work for an airline after I graduate, as I have loved planes and flying for a while now!
