Its the type of realistic fiction that drags you in. This story is about illness but isn't sad the entire time. This book has such a sense of humor even through it all. When Greg is forced by his mother to become friends with Rachel when she is diagnosed with cancer, he was not thrilled. But, this took a turn for the better in some time. The book is so intriguing. I tend to stick to good book after reading it and this is one of those kind of books. Jonas is part of a society that doesn't have last names and everyone is assigned a job. When Jonas is assigned a very rare job, he uses it to bring color to others when hes not supposed to. And he eventually goes against the rules and has to escape the community because of it. When twins Alex and Aaron are separated when Alex is banished for being caught for being creative, Aaron goes on with his life thinking Alex is dead. But, all those who were banished are still secretly still alive and go to a school for creative people only. The entire Harry Potter series I read from 1st to 3rd grade. It started out with my dad reading them to me at night but then by 2nd grade I picked it up by myself. It may have taken me a long time but it stuck with it even though it may have been harder. That's how much I loved it. This action adventure fantasy series is one that I am addicted to. I have read these book multiple times. The series also had many historical references that also helped make the books so interesting. It was a monkey see monkey do kind of thing. Dorrie and the Blue witch is about when a young witch is home alone and lets the evil blue witch in by accident and causes this whole stir.
