I am so proud of what I have done this year. Rugby is my favorite sport and after seven years of trying my best ,I was selected to be a part of a rugby sevens qualifying team. I was also picked to be the Captain of the Abu Dhabi rugby tournament. I love playing team sports and I also play football for Empire academy after school where I am also the captain.

English

In English this year we have been learning about Coraline. We analysed the text and explored her character developments throughout the story. I really like my teacher and I feel like I am making good progress. I think I need to get better at poetry this year.

Maths

I have always found Maths really difficult, especially the word problems. I have an excellent teacher that really understands how I learn this year and I know that with his help that I will make progress. I was disappointed with my Maths results but I know what I need to practise to get better.

Science

Like Maths, I find Science a bit difficult and I do always revise every week at home. My favourite topic this term has been nutrition and I hope that we get to do some experiments next term.

History

History is my favourite subject and I enjoyed learning about the British revolution this term. I always want to do extra research about Historical events when I get home.

French

This year I feel that my French language is improving and we have been learning about important landmarks and places to go in France. I would love to visit France one day.

Geography

In Geography we have been learning about different environments - especially the rainforest. I try my best in Geography but it isn't one of my favourite subjects.

PE

We have been doing Athletics this term which I have enjoyed. I really loved the Interhouse Football competition last week and I really hope that we can do some rugby in our PE lessons.

Art

In art we have been learning about how to make an optical illusion. Art is not one of the subjects that I enjoy the most at school but I always try my best.
