Scholars and Lawyers also wrote about Hindu law and religion, which where Sanskrit literature took form during this time. A collection of Hindu legends that taught the Veda and/or the sacred Hindu texts.

Gupta writers  used poetry, fables and folklore in their work as well. 

A Hindu poem named The Mahabharata ("Great Work") was a poem that composed themes that relate to Hindu values and the battle between good and evil. 

A part of The Mahabharata is The Bhagavad Gita, which translates to, "The Song of the Lord." Which is one of the most beloved poems in the world of Hinduism literature. The poem goes on to tell a story about Prince Arjuna being taught about Hinduism by Krishna.

They do share a common theme of representing different scenes from people's lives.

Like the iron pillar at Mehrauli, made of solid iron, while standing 25 feet tall and weighs about 13,000 pounds. Displaying the great skill of these people.
