Technology is slowly waking over us? In F451 millie is almost completely controlled by the technology around them. In I Robot the robots are taking over the jobs for people. The text its self doesn't tell us to look at the media differently, however; it shows how two people can say the same exact thing but the meanings are completely different based off of how you 'perceive' it. In the media a perfect example could be how each news station reports the same exact event. News channels are 'trusted' sources by the community. If we were shown the true facts we may second guess there power. in ferinheight 451 we can see that the government try's to hid the true knowledge and the people in charge may have the ability to look at the books. in life we can see that government's of high power are very good at only showing the best part of the picture and not showing us the real facts. such as north Korea, only gives its media what the government wants them to see.

Whether you are Montag who cannot express his thinking or Spooner who's voice contradicts society's and doesn't want to be heard, you have the choice to keep reaching for a louder voice. One object that overall symbolizes our topic is a microphone. You can hand it to a person and they can be heard over a crowd, and everyone will hear them loud and clear.
