The software was easy to use, but for what we wanted to achive in our final product, we found that it was much easier to create a professional looking piece with software that was familair with; Final Cut Pro X. Using this software was a huge success as our final product ended up looking really good and we were able to use colour correction, lighting effects to make the film darker, and effects to create a creepy and tese atmosphere. ]]> 2017-03-29 11:31:05 UTC https://padlet.com/y7488/cy06fd62figz/wish/163378911 y7488 https://padlet.com/y7488/cy06fd62figz/wish/163379613 We tried using both the still Canon 7Ds and the larger film cameras, and we decided that the canon camera worked better for our project as they were easier to use, more customisable and better quality. These cameras made the product look to the highest quality and professional. We also used a tripod when filming to ensure our long shots and still shots were effective and not shaky. We first used it to research opening seuqences for successful films such as Saw and Insidious. This helped us identify the conventions of a typcial horror opening sequence so we were effectivly able to create one. We also used youtube to publish our opening sequence. Many films are now avialable on youtube to rent and we thought it would be a good idea to follow this.
